James Y. Su
DDS, PC
Dr. James Su has over 30 years experience practicing all facets of oral maxillofacial surgery. He is an assistant clinical professor at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Su received a B.A. in Biology, magna cum laude, from New York University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He attended Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry earning a D.D.S. with honors; he is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. In 1988, Dr. Su completed a four-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, serving as a chief resident during his final year. Dr. Su was board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1990; he is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and member of New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Su has admitting privileges at New York Presbyterian Medical Center, Mount Sinai Medical Center and Elmhurst Hospital Center. He is dedicated to providing the highest quality of compassionate care to his patients and derives much satisfaction helping them achieve optimal function and aesthetic results. In his spare time, Dr. Su enjoys cycling, yoga, and spending time with his family.
